So we planned and meet for a lunch ! it was really a stress breaking afternoon after had so much fun over food, ofcourse talking about our family members some gossiping ! Great day it was !
Coming to this recipe , i had some methi leaves and do not want morekuzhambu ,methi parantha or methi kuzhambu 🙂 this time i wanted some curry so paired up with potato ! believe me guys i didnt taste the bitter in the methi !
Methi leaves – 1 cup finely chopped and washed
Potato – 3 nos cut in to cubes & boiled with salt and turmeric
onion -1 big in size finely cut
sambhar powder – 2 tbsp or else use 1 tbsp of red chilly and 1 tbsp of coriander
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
oil – 3 tbsp
Heat the kadai and pour two tbsp of oil once heat add the mustard once cracked add the chopped onion and saute till it changes it colors , then add the methi leaves and saute for some 5 minutes.
Now add the salt and sambhar powder and saute till methi gets cooked ! Then add the boiled potato and add the one tbsp of oil and mix well and saute till everthing mix well and cooked ! lovely combo isnt it???
Try with hot rasam and curd rice 🙂 some times u can directly mix with rice !
P.S: Do your own variations of adding some garlic and other !
