Carrot – 4 nos
salt – as required
Coconut – 1/4 cup shredded
coriander leaves – 5 strands !
Lemon juice – 1tsp (optional Highly recommended )
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Channa dal – 1 tsp
Green chilly – 2 nos finely chopped !
Peel the skin and grate the carrot ! now heat the kadai and pour the oil and once heat add the mustard seeds once cracked add the dal and chilly !
Take a wide bottomed vessel ! add the grated carrot and tempered items mix well ! then add the grated coconut and coriander leaves ,lemon juice and mix well ! DOADD SALT AT THE TIME OF
Have it as such or else take it with rice !
- Do not add salt while mixing it has tendency to make the salad liquid by absorbing the water from carrot ! wont be nice !
- serve within 2 hrs after wards it wont be nice !
- U can avoid coconut on the health side
- Also u can avoid lemon juice part !
