This thai rice is made with few herbs and it is spicy also hot ! every spoon u expect a sip of water But u wont ! Because u want to take one more spoon of rice ! i tried this at home ! it came out well ! it hardly takes less 5 minutes. if u have cooked rice and chopped garlic !
In that restaurant it was spicy to the core where as in home i just reduced since because i wanted to enjoy this rice ! believe me if u are garlic lover u will not give up this rice ! i added little omam or kalonji it is not dominating at all ! Garlic – 8nos finely chopped
red chilly flakes – 1tbsp + 2tsp (do adjust for the family spicy)
pepper – 1 tsp
carom or omam or ajwain – 1/2 tsp
salt – as required
Olive oil – 3tbsp
Cooked Rice – 1 cup
Heat the Kadai and pour the oil then add the garlic and red chilly flakes and saute for 2 minutes once raw smell goes add the crushed pepper + Omam I used my mortal that did a pretty job and saute well and adjust salt !
Now mix the cooked the rice and off the flame ! Aroma talks here ! garlic and red chilly flakes takes the show 😛 so serve hot 🙂 i tasted with chips u can have it with raita ! one thing i would like to remind here ! have a cup of glass 🙂 hope it requires more 🙂
It is seriously spicy flavored rice ! i do not advice for Kids and so as aged persons !
If u like more u can add the red chilly flakes !
Add omam thats must because it has a flavour and taste , u can feel the herb rice 🙂
I prefer to use the red chilly flakes instead taking the flakes from the red chilly !
