If it is hard then definitely we remove the seed and amma makes thovayala(rice accompaniments) on that ! If its not hard Definitely i prepare Raitha on that ! One of the tastiest and easiest raitha! Its is different in taste too !
Snake guard – 2 (finely chopped and cleaned ~ Know how to clean the Snake guard)
Green chilly – 3 nos
Salt – as required
Thick Curd – 1 1/2 cup
oil – 1 tbsp
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves – to temper
Remove the skin from the snake guard and finely chop the veggie , learn how to cut this veggie !
Heat the kadai and pour the oil once its heat add the snake guard and green chilly , saute till it cooked adjust salt !
Take the thick curd, and beat well so that it wont form any lumps ! Now add the required amt of salt for the curd ! remember if the curd is too thick u can add little water , Now heat the kadai again and pour the oil once heat add the mustard seeds and urad dal saute till it turns brown ! transfer it to the curd mixture . and mix well !
Also add the cooked snaked guard and mix well ! temper with coriander leaves ! One of the best accompaniments for Rice ! In fact u can mix with Rice ! and taste !
- Make sure the snake guard is cooked well !
- Curd consistency is depends on you so adjust accordingly
- We are not adding any specific spicy powder so green chilly is the only option so plan your spice !
- If it is baby snake guard then no need to separate the seed otherwise it is better to remove the seed from the veggie !
