Near to my house there is a restaurant, called toss up which serves continental cuisine in Indian style, which i liked a lot, so i noted down few recipes, and wanted to try, one such was this smoked red pepper soup. they served it plain and we ordered some toasted bread and it was a heavenly combination . So i tried my level best to match up with the restaurant style . Here it goes.

Now grind all the items, i.e red pepper and tomato mixture by adding the required amt of salt. Now heat the kadai and add the butter once melts, add the puree and coarsely powdered pepper and bring it to boil, mix well, once boiled off the flame and add the cream and mix well.
Serve hot with Toasted Bread.
- Instead of Cream u can even add milk.
- The soup has less sweet taste we haven’t add any spicy item in this soup .
- If needed u can add one red chilly while sauteing the Tomato.
- But its best not to add any spicy , since pepper itself is enough.
