I generally take this chutney along with curd rice, thevamirathama irukkum “it means it taste like amirtham” . oke Adding hing definitely taste best so as aroma along with tamarind. Usually when i am bored or do not want anything i prepare this chutney along with curd rice. Wont take much time and yet a satisfying combo.I prepared little spicy, so it was too good with plain rice so as curd rice.
coconut – 1/2 cup
Green chilly – 3 nos
Tamarind – as required (depends on the tangy taste)
salt – as required
Hing – a pinch
Shred the coconut and put all the ingredients in the mixie jar and grind it nicely or coarsely , your choice, Sprinkle some water to get the consistency. all set to go
no need to temper it. just transfer the mixture in to the bowl & taste it along with rice or idly or dosai or curd rice.
- You need to plan which taste u need tangy, spicy or coconut flavor just add the ingredients accordingly
- You can purely try with your own measurements , it works fine.
- Not sure about the koparai (dessicated) one but it works with all kind of try.
