Boiled peanut -1 cup
Cucumber – 3 small size or else 2 medium size
Raw Mango -finely chopped 1/2 cup
Tomato – 1 medium size
Onion – 1 medium size
Carrot – 1/4 cup grated
Pepper powder – 1tsp
red chilly powder -1/2 tsp
lemon juice – 2 tsp
chaat masala – 1 tsp
salt – as required
Coriander leaves – to temper
Take all the ingredients, separately, keep a wide bowl and mixing spoon. First transfer the boiled peanut to the bowl (reserve few if u want to decorate it finally)
Then pour all the veggies like onion, tomato, raw mango, cucumber, grated carrot, then add the salt, pepper powder,red chilly powder and chaat masala and mix well,
Once every thing mixed, add the lemon juice i prefer to add this finally , temper it with coriander leaves, Place it in the bowl and do the rest of the tempers as per suggestion . serve for the snacks.
- I have not added peanut soaking as well as boiling time, in this recipe, so when u plan consider the soaking + boiling time too .
- Adding red chilly and chaat masala is optional but do add that so that it has the good flavor to enjoy the salad/ chaat
- I did add green chilly but i did not mention in the ingredients, purely optional
- Make sure the peanut are boiled well.
