Preparation time : 15 minutes
Freezing time : 7 to 8 hours
Servings – 9 popsicles. (depends on the mould capacity it vary)
Boiled Milk – 2 1/2 cup. (make sure it is cold after boiled)
Milk powder – 1/4 cup
Sugar -1/2 cup
Fresh cream – 1/4 cup
Almond – 2 tbsp finely chopped ( optional But i do suggest this for the taste)
Vanilla essence – 2 tsp
Take the boiled cold milk and mix milk powder, stir well so that there wont be any lumps. Then add the sugar and mix well , make sure he sugar dissolves it. I just warmed the milk which is purely optional.
Take your mixie, pour the milk, now add the cream and vanilla essence, just grind it, at low option. Once grind add the chopped almonds (optional) pour the milk in the mould and close it, If your are using the ice cream stick, cover the mould with foil paper, after it is semi freeze insert the ice cream stick. I used the mould stick So it inserted in the initial stage.
After 8 hours, take our the mould and show the bottom in the running water, and try to take out carefully.
Serve chill. I have not added the almonds in the mixure, but when i tried finally, it was good . Blame myself. So do mix the chopped almonds before freezing. i am sure your entire family enjoys the sticks.
- If u are using the mould for the first time, try with plain water. So you get some idea.
- My high recommendation for chopped almonds, it seriously gives extra punch to the popsicles.
- i have used my normal Heritage milk, So i knew the consistency of popsicles, if u are using other milks, make sure its not thick (make it semi light to enjoy )
- If u do not have popsicles mould try with the regular small tumbler and ice cream, i am sure it works fine.
