Couple of week back when i went to matsya restaurant we happened order chilly garlic toast, some have i felt it is missing something or it is over tasting (with butter) ,when i came back home i decided that i want to make the same,so i tried the same to my surprise it came out well, and i realized that garlic and chilly combo never go wrong, its seriously a romeo juliet combo.
Since schools are opened i am sure mommy’s are worried about the Kids Snacks,I am sure this toast will help u ,i will try to find out more about the kids snack box,so off to recipe !
Bread slice – 5 breads
For the Spread
Butter – 3 tbsp (room temperature )
Garlic – 8 pods (or else 2 tsp paste)
chilly flakes – 1 tsp
salt – a pinch
First prepare the spread, by mixing all the ingredients Mentioned in the column “For The Spread ” , before that grate the garlic otherwise use the garlic paste, My suggestion s use the fresh grated garlic which has nice aroma. Also make sure the butter is at room temperature, and ready with the slice.
So you spread the mixture over the bread on both sides as needed. Then toast it in the tawa on both side. If u have toaster you can also use that.
Once toasted cut in to two halve (diagonally) and serve it with cup of milk, and some butter if needed. You can also wrap the toasted bread and pack it for your tour or school time snacks.
- Use room temperature butter.
- Make sure you toast the bread on both side, and once its changes it color, take it from tawa.
- Since i have used butter, i have not add any oil while toasting, if u want it pls use the oil but i feel butter itself is enough.
