Whole Urad dal – 1cup
Heat the kadai and pour the whole urad dal and saute the dal till its get semi brown color, do saute the dal or the raw smell goes, Do not over roast the dal it will have bitter taste. off the flame . allow it to cool down completely .
Now grind the urad dal in to fine powder . Again cool down for 15 minutes by spreading the powder in the news paper or broad stainless steel plate. Then sieve it twice and store it in the air tight .container.
It can be consumed for any savory snacks , its very handy and easy to prepare. If u are making large batch , then store in the refrigerator.
- Do not over roast the dal otherwise it wll have bitter taste.
- I would suggest you to do 1 cup at a time . Becoz its easy to prepare and storing is quite difficult . So you can prepare whenever you need instead of making it bulk.
- Make sure You are using the fine quality of dal for getting a tasty savorys.
- Since i did only 1 cup i grind it in my own jar. If u are doing bulk you can give the whole dal to machine near by .
