Cucumber Lime Juice is a recent one which i started including in my daily diet, When i was looking for healthy summer juice, i got this recipe in pinterest. This recipe is ideal for sport activity person, who does not want to get dehydration. It also helps your body to cleanse since cucumber is added which helps to make your body cool. Here in this recipe i have included coconut water, which i got from my coconut, you can also use tender coconut water. Since coconut has lite sweet punch i thought i can add a pinch of salt.
When i had this for morning i felt very lite and energetic, then My tummy was full, So its ideal for those who are doing exercise, running , jogging….. You can carry this instead of water, which helps to maintain the hydration level. If you are looking for healthy juice, or weight loss juice, this cucumber lime juice is very apt. Whether you want to loose or maintain or if you want to control you liquid intake, this juice definitely helps you. Lemon and cucumber also provide the essential Vitamin C . On top of all its vegan juice.
- Cucumber – 1 cup finely chopped/ grated
- Lime juice – ¼ cup
- Coconut water – ¾ cup
- Normal water – ½ cup
- Salt – as needed (purely optional)
- Icecubes - few (optional )
- Transfer the cucumber to mixie and add ½ cup of water and grind it nicely , then strain the water, add the lemon juice, and coconut water, if needed salt can be added.
- Serve chill or transfer it your water bottle , you can have a sip while doing your athletic activities
You can also add a tsp of grated ginger.
If you do not want salt, you can cut down that.
Tender coconut has little sweet taste, so while adding sugar, caution needed.
Do consume immediately, do not take long hours to consume since coconut water added, it may spoil the juice immediately.
you can also try with cucumber and lemon juice alone.
